Executive Chief Fire Officer Candidates.  Also, for those Fire chiefs who are passionate about developing a comprehensive Risk Management Plan.

Prerequisites

Meet educational requirements for Chief Fire Officer

Certification

Executive Chief Fire Officer Certificate

Standard

Complete all activities and formative test and summative test with a minimum score of 80%.

Course Details

Class dress is casual but respectful and uniforms are okay as well. Please bring a laptop with you to class each day. There will be pre-coursework to meet the required course requirement hours.

Course Description

This course will provide the skills and knowledge needed for the Executive Chief Fire Officer to perform his/her duties safely, effectively, and competently.  The overarching theme of this curriculum is maintaining, developing, and providing leadership for a risk management program.

This class will be taught by Deputy Chief Joe Ward – Oceanside Fire Dept.  

Students are required to bring a laptop computer with them to class each day.

To cancel your registration and receive a refund you need to contact ECT 30-calendar days prior to the first day of the class. A $15 refund processing fee will be deducted from the total refund amount ​for each class canceled.

However, if you cancel your registration within 30-calendar days of the first day of class you can carryover your registration towards any class we offer now or in the future.

You will not lose your class registration. Just contact us to cancel and/or to apply your cancelled registration towards another ECT class.
