Note: we will be following the local/state health officials and CDC guidelines for COVID. We also will be taking student temperatures each day and require that all students attending wear a mask in class. We will be maintaining social distancing in the classroom and we have reduced student class sizes. We will also be implementing additional controls/mitigations to include disinfecting tables and chairs each day to reduce vulnerabilities.

Course Details
This is a 3 days class with numerous “all hazard” scenarios. Students will work in groups establishing objectives, defining strategy, and implementing an incident organization.
Course Description
This course provides a description and detail of the Incident Command System (ICS) organization and operations in supervisory roles on expanding or Type 3 incidents. Topics include ICS fundamentals review, incident/event assessment, and agency guidance in establishing incident objectives, unified command, incident resource management, planning process, demobilization, transfer of command, and closeout.
NOTE: Please bring a laptop computer and/or tablet with a USB port. Most of the student materials are on flash drives that will be passed out on the first day of class.
