Course Details:
The ICS 400, Advanced Incident Command course, is a two-day class that moves quickly. The knowledge and skills from this class are valuable to the executive incident manager.
The class will begin at 0830. The dress is casual yet respectful, and uniforms are also acceptable.
Please do not wander around the Schell-Vista fire station adjacent to the classroom.
Like all Elite Command Training courses, please bring a laptop computer with a USB Type-A port to class each day. Your student materials will be on flash drives that you’ll receive on the first day.
Course Description:
The ICS 400, Advanced Incident Command course, provides students with an operational understanding of large single-agency and complex multi-agency/multi-jurisdictional incident responses. Topics include fundamentals review for command and general staff, major and/or complex incident/event management, area command, and multi-agency coordination.
