Each student who completes the cours will receive a certificate from State Fire Training.

Dress is casual but respectful, and uniforms are acceptable.
As with all Elite Command Training courses, please bring a laptop computer to class each day. Student materials will be provided on a flash drive
Course Description:
The S-290 course is a classroom-based skills course designed to prepare prospective fireline supervisors to conduct safe and effective fire management operations. It is the second course in a series that collectively develops fire behavior prediction knowledge and skill sets. Fire environment differences are discussed as necessary; the instructor will stress the local fire behavior conditions.
If you want to improve your fire behavior experience, knowledge, skill sets, and ability to stay out of trouble, this class is a must-attend.
Laptop Computer – IMPORTANT
Like all Elite Command Training courses, please bring a laptop with a USB Type-A port to class each day. Your student materials will be on flash drives that you’ll receive on the first day.
