Course Details
This is a 3-day class with numerous “all hazard” scenarios. Students will work in groups establishing objectives, defining strategy, and implementing an incident organization.
Course Description
This course provides a description and detail of the Incident Command System (ICS) organization and operations in supervisory roles on expanding or Type 3 incidents. Topics include ICS fundamentals review, incident/event assessment, and agency guidance in establishing incident objectives, unified command, incident resource management, planning process, demobilization, transfer of command, and closeout.
NOTE: Please bring a laptop computer and/or tablet with a USB port. Most of the student materials are on flash drives that will be passed out on the first day of class.
