NICS ICS All-Hazards training should be completed by personnel who are regularly assigned to functional, support, or unit leader positions on Type 3 or 4 AHIMTS, or by those persons who desire to seek credentials/certification in those positions

Certification
FEMA issued certification upon successful completion of the course within 2 months of the course sent from the Emergency Management Insititute

Course Details
The class dress is casual but respectful and uniforms are okay as well. Please bring a laptop with you to class each day. A parking map will be sent to the students for the classroom location within the Chevron facility.
Course Description:
The intended audience(s) Federal, state, tribal, and/or local level emergency responders who may be designated as a Planning Section Chief (PSC) on their local or state IMT. The materials were developed with the assumption that audience members may have little or no actual experience as a member of an AHIMT.
The audience may include students from a variety of agencies and functional disciplines, including fire service, law enforcement, emergency management, public works departments, as well as public health organizations, medical emergency teams, and hospitals.

Students are required to bring a laptop computer with them to class each day.
Attendees shall have their FEMA student ID number prior to the start of class!
How do I obtain my FEMA Student Identification (SID) number?
Step 1: To register, go to https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid
Step 2: Click on the “Need a FEMA SID” box on the right side of the screen.
Step 3: Follow the instructions and provide the necessary information to create your account.
Step 4: You will receive an email with your SID number. You should save this number in a secure location.
