Education: BS in Biology from UCLA

Current Position: Battalion Chief for Santa Clara County Fire Department with more than 22 years of suppression experience.  A member of the Special Operations Task Force and Peer Support Program

Federal IMT experience: 9 years with FBAN as current position

Qualified FBAN, DIVS, SITL, FIRB, STEN, FEMO, FOBS, OPBD(t)

Instructor Qualifications: Ignitions Operations, Multiple Command and Control Classes and ICS positions

CARX qualified, completed all RXB course work, helped develop the CARX (California Prescribed Fire Burn Boss) curriculum.

Conducted multiple Rx fires and Ignitions operations classes to help meet the local objectives of hazard reduction, ecological benefit and fire service training.  Conducted Rx fire in multiple states and across most landscape types in CA.  Provided suppression services and support to multiple Type 1and Type 2 fires across CA and the Southwest.

Member of FIRESCOPE TF for just over one year.

REFUND POLICY

To cancel your registration and receive a refund you need to contact ECT 30-calendar days prior to the first day of the class. A $15 refund processing fee will be deducted from the total refund amount ​for each class canceled.

However, if you cancel your registration within 30-calendar days of the first day of class you can carryover your registration towards any class we offer now or in the future.

You will not lose your class registration. Just contact us to cancel and/or to apply your cancelled registration towards another ECT class.
