Note: This class canceled due to the coronavirus and the social distancing requirements in the classroom. This course provides students with a basic knowledge of the budgeting requirements related to the roles and responsibilities of a Chief Fire Officer including developing a budget management system, developing a division or departmental budget, and describing the process for ensuring competitive bidding.  In class, you’ll be given budget instructions and fire service relevant budget topics to develop.  After developing your budget you will have to present your budget to the instructors who will be acting as the executive staff of your fire department.
