Scott Ashbach is an engine captain with the Orange County Fire Authority in Southern California. Scott’s emergency response career dates back 34 years. His experience ranges from the 1992 LA Riots and 1993 wildfires to multiple all-risk incidents including the 2005 hurricane season where he spent 34 days deployed to hurricane Katrina and Rita. Scott has 23 years’ experience as a Logistics Manager with FEMA’s US&R California Task Force 5 and over 20 years’ experience in the logistics section on type 1,2 and 3, incident management teams. Scott is qualified and current as a LSC2, FACL,
BCMG, SPUL, RCDM, ORDM, FDUL and LSC1 trainee and is currently the lead Logistics Section Chief for USFS CIIMT 12. His team deploys several times each season to large fires throughout the western US, including the 220,000 acre Caldor Fire in 2021. Scott is a qualified instructor for L967 – Logistics Section Chief, L970 – Supply Unit Leader, L971 – Facilities Unit Leader, O-305 – All Hazards IMT for the Type 3 Command and General Staff, ICS-300, and ICS-400, with multiple deliveries of each.

REFUND POLICY

To cancel your registration and receive a refund you need to contact ECT 30-calendar days prior to the first day of the class. A $15 refund processing fee will be deducted from the total refund amount for each class canceled.

However, if you cancel your registration within 30-calendar days of the first day of class you can carryover your registration towards any class we offer now or in the future.

You will not lose your class registration. Just contact us to cancel and/or to apply your cancelled registration towards another ECT class.
