Course Description:
The Techniques of Evaluation course covers the principles and selection of media in the instructional process, employment of basic and advanced forms of instructional media, use of computers in the instructional process, and individualized instruction programs. Teaching demonstrations are required of all participants.
Certification:
Each student who completes the course will receive a certificate from State Fire Training
Designed For:
Personnel preparing for a college-level fire instructor, SFT Certified Training Instructor position, or career development for teaching SFT Instructional
Prerequisites:
Instructor I recommended
Instructor II recommended
Standard:
Complete all group activities and formative tests.
Pass all individual activities without omitting critical criteria as identified on activity sheet(s).
Complete all summative tests with a minimum score of 80%.
Course Details:
The class will begin at 0830. The dress is casual yet respectful, and uniforms are also acceptable.
Like all Elite Command Training courses, please bring a laptop computer with a USB Type-A port to class each day. Your student materials will be on flash drives that you’ll receive on the first day.
