Instructor 1: Instructor Methodology - Camp Pendleton Fire & Rescue - August 2020
This course provides the skills and knowledge needed for the entry-level professional instructor to perform his or her duties safely, effectively, and competently.  The curriculum is based on the 2012 edition of NFPA 1041 Standards for fire service instructor professional qualifications.  At the end of this course, candidates for Instructor I certification will be able to teach and deliver instruction from a prepared lesson plan utilizing instructional aids and evaluation instruments.  The Instruction I will also be able to adapt a lesson plan and complete the reporting requirements to the local jurisdiction.

This classroom is located 1/4 mile South of the Orange County Line (San Clemente).

 From San Clemente, Exit Basilone, go East over the freeway to the gate. The classroom is located at the community event center next to Sonic Burgers on Basilone Road, approximately 1000 feet east of the sentry gate off of I-5.

Please have students show their agency ID to the military police at the sentry.

Note: it is a requirement that all students attending wear a mask in class and we will be maintaining social distancing in the classroom.  We will also be disinfecting tables and chairs each day.
