Course Details
Class dress is casual, but respectful and uniforms are okay as well. Please bring a laptop with you to class each day.
Course Description
This course (38 hours) provides the skills and knowledge needed for the Executive Chief Fire Officer to perform his/her duties safely, effectively and competently. The overarching theme of this curriculum are developing a comprehensive disaster plan and a comprehensive plan for “all hazard” dynamic emergencies for the fire organization to operate effectively and safely.
This class will be taught by: Deputy Chief Mike Bryant County of Los Angeles Fire Department. Get ready to command the following dynamic emergencies: Civil Unrest, 300 plus patient MCI, High Rise Fire, Airport Plane crash, Large Building Fires, etc. Major simulations and disaster planning exercises. Come and get your command & control reps from us!
Students are required to bring a laptop computer with them to class each day.
