This class will now be held on June 23-26, 2020 at Camp Pendleton Community center

This classroom is located 1/4 mile South of the Orange County Line (San Clemente).

From San Clemente, Exit Basilone, go East over the freeway to the gate. The classroom is located at the community event center next to Sonic Burgers on Basilone Road, approximately 1000 feet east of the sentry gate off of I-5.

Please have students show their agency ID to the military police at the sentry.

Note: all students attending will be required to wear masks and we will be practicing social distancing in and out of the classroom.  All the tables and chairs in the class will be appropriately disinfected each day.  

Designed For

Personnel desiring to be qualified as ANY SINGLE resources boss or fire effect monitor.

This class is by far THE most important class you can take.  Understanding fire behavior is critical for all firefighters.  You want to take this class from an instructor who is an FBAN 5 and that has expert knowledge with fire behavior.  You do not want to take this class from a community college instructor who does not have the same qualifications.

Course Details

The dress is casual but respectful and uniforms are okay. Bring a laptop computer with you to class each day. Student materials will be on flash-drives.

Course Description:  This is a classroom-based skills course designed to prepare the prospective fireline supervisor to undertake safe and effective fire management operations.  It is the second course in a series that collectively serves to develop fire behavior prediction knowledge and skillsets.  Fire environment differences are discussed as necessary; the instructor will stress the local fire behavior conditions.

If you want to improve your fire behavior experience, knowledge, skill sets, and abilities to keep you out of trouble then this class is a must-attend.

REFUND POLICY

To cancel your registration and receive a refund you need to contact ECT 30-calendar days prior to the first day of the class. A $15 refund processing fee will be deducted from the total refund amount ​for each class canceled.

However, if you cancel your registration within 30-calendar days of the first day of class you can carryover your registration towards any class we offer now or in the future.

You will not lose your class registration. Just contact us to cancel and/or to apply your cancelled registration towards another ECT class.
